Bonjour Keith ;) I'm also French but live in Sydney, where the time difference with Wall Street is even worse. I find that your system works pretty well in my situation though.

1. What’s the most valuable service you get from my Substack? (And the least?)

I've been a FM for 3 months or so and have read your strategy a few times. And I find that your chat alerts are most valuable, not necessarily to copy your trades but to understand your thinking and the fine details of applying the strategy in real time. I haven't been active in the chat but have found your answers to some questions particularly helpful in that respect.

I like that you go to the essentials and don't bombard us with unnecessary stuff, just publishing for the sake of it.

2. Which is your favorite and least favorite format, and why?

It's all good, but I don't always understand how your info is organised in Substack. And the Substack search function is very poor. I wish I could order results by date for instance, to see the most recent first. But that's to do with the platform, not your content.

3. Are the investment calls and plans clear and actionable enough?

Yes. Also, because you're very responsive on the chat, we can always ask clarifications there.

4. Are the write-ups well structured and informative enough?

The write-ups are very informative. Maybe they could include a section about competing businesses.

5. What would you want more of? Earnings reviews, new positions, positions reviews or update, macro, something else?.

It's all good. More is not necessarily better.

However, I had a big drawdown in July and wish I'd managed that better. So strategies on how to deal with those periods would help. I remember you weren't very happy with how you managed it either, but you seemed to have bounced back much better than me.

The updated Google sheet is great, to quickly find actionable ideas (with links to the write-ups), but also to understand how you implement your strategy.

I don't need macro stuff, as it's available elsewhere.

I'm interested in your views on BTC & ETH though.

6. What’s missing? What’s unnecessary? What’s too much of? What’s not enough?

I appreciate that the chat is not cluttered with people saying "Good morning" or sharing all sorts of tickers or trades that have nothing to do with your strategy. I hope it stays this way as your service grows.

7. If you’re a free subscriber: what holds you back from subscribing?

Nothing. I'm glad I pulled the trigger.

Thank you very much!

I also am very frustrated with the search tool as I sometimes can't find my own work... Not sure if I cannot find a way to bypass this myself. Could look into it!

Appreciate all the other answers, I will always try to focus on information and accionable data instead of noise! But I count on you all to tell me if things go south :)!

Thank you for your trust.

Thank you for this article as it clarifies some important aspects as a new subscriber.

- What I think would help for new subscribers is some thoughts on how to best use the model portfolios if you want build your positions over time in these stocks? Should someone wait for SS Book additions? Wait for buying targets (which are only for FMs)? Other thoughts for new subscribers?

- I can see the discount offer in this article to join as a founding member but I'm struggling to understand how I'm able to use that offer to subscribe as a FM?

The way I invest is to buy the best risk reward I can find.

Everytime I find a new one, I will share an article to detail the fundamentals, opportunity and investing plan, and yes share an alert dedicated to FM plus add it on a dedicated sheet which they can access 24/7 with buy targets.

On the positions that are already in the SS book, there are no new article on trim/accumulation, only alerts shared to FM. But I regularly update on the SS positions in portfolio reviews article and go over my plan for each, so paid members have a monthly-ish update on my targets.

I also often share updates on the chat so even without giving concrete price targets, I give clear opinions.

I hope that helps!

What’s the most valuable service you get from my Substack? (And the least?)

- Most Valuable: Getting awareness of companies that wouldn't have crossed my mind. You save me time and effort.

- Least Valuable: None at the moment.

Which is your favorite and least favorite format, and why?

- I like the SS, weekly write ups, and alerts. It's all come a long way and is much better.

Are the investment calls and plans clear and actionable enough?

- Yes. It took some getting used to but your SS helps a lot, especially with the W50 calculations now.

Are the write-ups well structured and informative enough?

- Most definitely.

What would you want more of? Earnings reviews, new positions, positions reviews or update, macro, something else?..

- I think you are balancing it just right. Sometimes people give out constant and too much info where it's overwhelming. They become content sluts...lol. Your content is focused and digestible. Quick snapshots into earnings that you give are perfect, DD is only needed if new information is present. Position reviews are nice, but not needed because people can always reread what you posted on the company...unless something changed.

What’s missing? What’s unnecessary? What’s too much of? What’s not enough?

- I think it would be helpful for identify entries ahead of time as prices get within 5% of target (I think you kinda do that now). As a result of the time difference, I see you have made a trade where it's still early/pre-market hours in the US, but by the time I see it, it's too late because it ran up already. I'm also changing how I handle those situations by not being so reactionary. Planning helps.

If you’re a free subscriber: what holds you back from subscribing?

I'm in as a founder!

What’s the most valuable service you get from my Substack? (And the least?)

- I think I’ve learned a lot from your system, especially how to cut losers and concentrate on winners.

Which is your favorite and least favorite format, and why?

- I like the articles where you explain your system, when to buy and when to sell, overviews of topics such as 800VDC and photonics, and detailed theses for each stock in your screening.

- I don’t like BUY ALERTs for new stocks that have never been mentioned before. At that point, I don’t even know what the company does. I only know its ticker.

Are the investment calls and plans clear and actionable enough?

- I think sometimes you give a BUY ALERT, but when things turn south, there is no SELL ALERT, and it can leave some of us holding the bag. Haha.

Are the write-ups well structured and informative enough?

- I think they are good as they are.

What would you want more of? Earnings reviews, new positions, position reviews or updates, macro, something else?

- A deep dive or investment thesis before a BUY ALERT.

- A stop-loss level or exit plan for each ticker.

- And most importantly, SELL ALERTs!

What’s missing? What’s unnecessary? What’s too much of? What’s not enough?

-I think sometimes you give us too many tickers. Some of them are so weak that I don’t think they should be invested in at all. I’d rather have a few bets that really matter (like your substack name), rather than too many opportunities where we have to pick and bet on our luck.

- And as mentioned above, I think there should be a SELL ALERT for each BUY ALERT.

Thank you very much for taking the time!

Some of those points are already in the pipes (notably missing selling alerts which won't happen anymore), and I understand the others! Things will head the right way in the next months!

Thank you!

Thank you as well! I really appreciate all the work you’ve been putting into this. Keep up the great work, and I’ll definitely be following your work in the months and years ahead.

Happy to be here as a founding member!

Great results both for your book and your Substack and I can see why! Probably one of my favourite accounts on here
